Is This You?

I am in overdrive and overwhelmed. My staff and I are all really busy yet things seem to be falling through the cracks; we can’t afford to let new business opportunities slip by yet we are busy just keeping up.

I feel alone, leading my team. They look to me for direction, and I can’t show them that I am hesitant, but sometimes I need some input on decision-making. I need someone at my level to provide honest, unbiased feedback.

I have a unique vision for my business, yet my team doesn’t seem to get it. I need to be able to communicate it clearly and effectively, and make sure that I have the right team with the right training, in place.

Sometimes I think our past success has been a matter of pure luck; we need to maintain our growth and can no longer afford not to have a well defined strategy and a proven system for success, that everyone is trained and fluent in.

What’s next? I’ve been in business for awhile and I am not sure if I want to keep expanding, adding staff or maintain modest, manageable growth. I need to get perspective and consider my options before charging ahead.

I started this business based on my desire to be more creative. I am doing little creatively and more management. I want to regain some of my original passion, and find a better work/life balance.
