Jane Tabachnick is named a Woman of the Future, Honored with a Galaxy Award.

New York, NY May 10, 2003 -- Helping aspiring entrepreneurs is not new to Jane Tabachnick, President, of Jane Tabachnick eMarketing. In response to the poor, post 9/11 economy and the number of people who have had entrepreneurship thrust upon them as a result of corporate downsizing, Ms. Tabachnick stepped-up to the plate and volunteered her company's services.

Based on her 20 year history of volunteering and her commitment to entrepreneurs at various stages of their businesses, Ms. Tabachnick has been proclaimed a Woman of the Future and is being honored with a Galaxy Award. She was selected for her “leadership capabilities, intelligence, and commitment to their chosen fields.”

The Galaxy Award is presented by the New York Women’s Agenda, http://www.nywa.org/ .The actual nomination coming from AWED, the American Women Economic Development Corps http://www.awed.org/ a non-profit organization to which Ms. Tabachnick has donated her services, mostly pro bono, for 20 years.

An eMarketing expert, Ms. Tabachnick counsels business owners on marketing, and technology as it relates to starting and running their businesses. She is known to be quite the expert in these subjects, with entrepreneurs often repeating her information-packed classes. Ms. Tabachnick has also produced technology conferences for small business owners in conjunction with AWED. She is currently helping them to develop a technology curriculum for business owners.

Ms. Tabachnick transitioned from a career as a fashion designer. As a single mom looking for more flexibility, she combined her fascination with technology and her marketing acumen to create her marketing firm.

“This is an incredible honor”, says Jane, “I really enjoy my work with entrepreneurs, and I always get a personal reward from my mentoring and teaching.”
